requirements vary by route and insurer.Referral acceptanceConfirmation from the receiving service that it has the referral information and a defined next step; it is not implied by sending records.Refraction recordA dated provider or optical-service record of measured refractive parameters and context, preserved for the responsible professional without self-interpreting the values.Refund transaction referenceA traceable identifier for the payment-channel leg of a refund; it does not by itself prove that the destination account received the funds.Registration cancellation (退号)Closing an outpatient registration record under the provider's rules; refund status and future appointment status still need separate confirmation.Rehabilitation assessmentA qualified provider's patient-specific assessment used to determine its care route; it cannot be replaced by a generic exercise plan or website checklist.Rehabilitation hospitalA licensed medical institution meeting the applicable rehabilitation-hospital standards; its identity does not prove clinical suitability, live capacity or insurance payment for an individual.Rehabilitation medical projectA named rehabilitation medical-service charging project with a unit and provider record; a national price guide or charge code does not itself prove medical-insurance reimbursement.Rehabilitation medicineA licensed clinical service route in which the responsible team assesses, plans, records and follows rehabilitation care; it is not the same as an unverified wellness service.Remains health-quarantine certificateThe Customs certificate issued after a qualifying body, coffin or bones shipment passes the applicable exit health-quarantine inspection; it does not replace carrier or destination acceptance.Remains pickupTransfer of human remains by the official funeral-home route using the required death proof, identity and service records; an ambulance or informal vehicle is not the ordinary transport route.Remote medical consultationAn institution-to-institution service in which an inviting medical institution obtains professional opinion from an invited institution while retaining its role in the patient's care.Remote medical-record requestA provider-controlled request made after departure using verified identity, scoped authority, named record items and a secure delivery route.ReportA provider-issued test or visit document that may require a separate follow-up review.Report and source-data reconciliationA provider-led check that a written report and its images, files or material share the correct patient, order, date and issuing service before transfer or follow-up.Report release statusThe provider-controlled state showing whether a report is pending, under review, corrected or final; it is not the same as one hospital chart.Resident Medical Certificate of DeathThe unified national death medical certificate used from 1 July 2026 for qualifying deaths in mainland China, including foreign nationals; the issuing route depends on where and how the death occurred.Resident medical-insurance eligibilityThe locally defined identity, residence, age, student, family, talent or permanent-residence category that permits a person to apply; living in China or holding a foreign passport does not establish it by itself.Retainer recordProvider-issued information identifying a retainer and its current clinical instructions; it does not authorize a new provider or website to change use.Return referralA provider-coordinated handoff from hospital care back to an appropriate community or primary-care service with the necessary records and follow-up responsibility.Return to work after illnessThe documented transition from illness absence to an actual role, with clinical recommendations, job demands, restrictions and employer arrangements kept separate.Return-to-work medical documentA provider-issued statement or recommendation used for a defined return-to-work purpose; it does not by itself decide fitness for every job or the legal employment outcome.Revocation of authorizationA traceable withdrawal of task-specific authority communicated to the relevant institution and agent; it does not automatically erase actions already lawfully completed or terminate a separate guardianship.

Need the complete adult-vaccination or travel-health route?

The adult vaccination and travel health center separates clinic access, domestic records, International Travel Health Care Centers, ICVPs, border checks, destination requirements and outbound medical forms. It does not recommend a vaccine or confirm one journey’s live requirement.

Need the complete diagnostic-service route?

The diagnostic tests, imaging and pathology center connects provider checks, orders, identity, costs, reports, image data, pathology material and clinician-led follow-up. It does not choose a test or interpret a result.

Use this index for navigation, not clinical decisions

This index explains administrative terms and care routes. For symptoms, diagnosis or treatment, contact a qualified healthcare professional; a glossary entry cannot replace clinical advice.
