China Care Desk is an independent English-first guide to healthcare navigation in mainland China. Its scope is primarily administrative: finding the responsible organization, preparing documents, understanding published routes and knowing what to confirm directly. It cannot diagnose, prescribe, decide legal rights or guarantee availability, cost, coverage, language support or outcomes.
02 · Editorial roles
Research and professional review are separate
“China Care Desk Research Desk” is an organizational byline for an AI-assisted research and drafting workflow. It is not the name of a person, clinician, lawyer, hospital, insurer or government body.
- Research work includes source discovery, structured extraction, scope notes and draft preparation.
- A professional-review label is used only when a relevant, current review record supports it.
- Unreviewed material must not imply clinician, bilingual medical-editor or lawyer approval.
03 · Evidence and review
Use the source that controls the decision
Research prefers current government, regulator, hospital, insurer and other responsible-organization material. A source list shows material consulted for a page; it does not prove that every sentence remains current indefinitely.
Pages identify jurisdiction, source access dates, review dates and details that need direct confirmation. Appointment channels, prices, eligibility, emergency routes and provider services are time-sensitive and should be rechecked with the responsible organization before use.
Clinical education, safety-sensitive material and high-impact legal information use stricter publication and review rules. The presence of a source link alone is not a clinical or legal endorsement.

Correction records stay tied to the affected page
When an official source changes or a discrepancy is identified during editorial checking, the affected statement is compared with the responsible source, updated or withdrawn and given a revised review date. Possible immediate harm, incorrect emergency routes and closed providers receive priority.
For an appointment, service, price, insurance decision or other time-sensitive question, readers should use the official provider or authority route shown on the relevant page and confirm the current detail directly.

Editorial evidence must not be bought
The directory has no paid placement, referral fee or affiliate link. Any future advertising or sponsorship must be clearly labelled and kept separate from natural directory order, evidence requirements and editorial conclusions.
The site has no reader account, booking, health-record upload or symptom-history feature. Readers should not enter personal or medical information into site search. Technical hosting and external-service data practices are described in the privacy policy.
