Use an official source to confirm the Chinese legal name, address, campus, imaging department or independent diagnostic centre and booking channel. National rules require relevant registration and licensing, but a license record does not confirm today's appointment or language availability.
Ask where registration, check-in, payment, imaging and report collection occur. Hospitals may separate outpatient, inpatient and international routes; a centre may receive orders through a collaborating institution. Save the Chinese address, booking reference and official change contact.

Use only the provider's instructions and qualified safety process
Request current instructions tied to the order. Answer the provider's screening questions accurately and ask for a qualified explanation if anything is unclear. Do not substitute a translation app, generic checklist, another patient's experience or this guide.

Collect separate report and image records, then arrange review
Ask when the written report is final, who may collect it and how to obtain a correction or formal copy. Separately ask what original image data is available, by which secure channel, in which format and for how long.
DICOM is a technical format, not a promise of access or compatibility. A Shanghai standard separates reports from complete DICOM series for its defined service, but cannot be generalized nationwide. Ask the receiving service whether it can open the exact dataset and keep a secure backup.
